F1 excitement

In the 1st Lap DRAMA has unfolded-Lewis narrowly missing the mayhem.
Sutil, both torro rosso's Bourdais and Trulli, and Buemi all out of the race, Debris flying EVERYwhere!!!!

Oh how can you not love the drama!!!

Diamonds are a Mans's Best friend?

Have you seen Lewis Hamilton's Diamond studded helmet, custom-made
to have his signature done with diamonds.

F1 Monaco and all those mens Mags!

2 weeks later and its the Formula One in holiday haven Monaco.
It's a road track and its said to be PERHAPS a wet track today.
David Coulthard wrote his car off on qualifying and its the usual Pole line up of
Massa, Raikkonen and Hamilton. Watching Monaco will be looking at
a preview of Singapore's F1 in September!

Talking about the F1, I opened up Newman Magazine and I think I forgot
that I did an interview on The La Formula Una for them.
But anyway it shows this years La Formula Una but also quite a few pictures
of me and the girls from the La Formula Una in Brazil!
The pictures do look like ALOT of fun, so be sure to grab a copy for a read up!
Also spotted was me and a friend in Playeur Magazine at their launch.
I have yet to see it because it was all wrapped up and I'm not sure if i'll buy it.

Question for you guys....
What do you think of STUFF magazine covers?
Do the pictures seem alot more provocative and raunchy then FHM?
For example, this months is a girl in Black leather with chains....
Does that really entice you to want to pick up the magazine?????

Mothers Day vs F1

Yes its Sunday and Mother's Day and ordering flowers is such a difficulty because
EVERYone is doing it and everywhere is charging exuberant prices
because they've tripled the prices.
No I'm not a Cheapo but why not get double the amount of flowers a day after Mother's Day. It's the Thought that counts!!!!

~FORMULA ONE~
Making Bangers and Mash for dins and in 5-10 minutes the Formula One in Turkey starts.
Some random trivia: The Turkey trick is 1 of 3 tracks that is driven anti-clockwise, the other 2 being Sao Paulo and YES SINGAPORE' track!!!!

And for drivers as they are usually driving round right corners, they develop a stronger right side of the neck , so for anti-clockwise tracks they will be turning alot to the left , where their necks aren't as strong and it will be more challenging because of the G-Force!

Pole positions for Qualifying was:

1.Felipe Massa
2.Heikki Kovalainen
3.Lewis Hamilton
4.Kimi Räikkönen
5.Robert Kubica
6.Mark Webber
7.Fernando Alonso

So far, Fisichella in the 1st Lap, ran in to Nakajima at the start and both are out of the race with carbon fibre bits all over th track...44 Laps out of 58 have been raced, so it's getting really Exciting with Massa and Hamilton battling it out in top 2 spots bettering each other nonstop with their best laps....Okay well another blogging later on the winners and hopefully some more drama!!!

~EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES~
In the mean time, went out to go look at fishing rods and tackles, weights etc, as next week a group of 10 of us are going deep sea fishing just outside of Singapore organised by the Marina One degree 15. I Haven't been before so i'm pretty excited about the overnight fishing.
In Singapore you always need to find new things to do , provided you can pull together a bit more funding.

But honestly, if people who earn an average amount a month spend hundreds on alcohol over the weekend, then they can definitely over-afford to go and rent a boat and buy the necessary!

If any of you have any other suggestions what other interesting things you can do in Singapore, PLEASE let me know!!! I'm running out of ideas each week!!!

What you mean SOLD out?!?

Would you believe it??
Tickets for the Singapore Drift were SOLD OUT!
I was brutally disappointed when we go to the grounds
only to see a sign in the distance saying 'Tickets sold out'
and we had to make a U-turn back out of that all exclusive pass Entrance,
finding solace from planes taking off and that the F1 was later that evening!
Funny thing is a friend said it really wasn't as good as I thought it would be
and she and her friends left after 1 hour???? EH??? I don't register this?
Answers someone???

Boy were we bummed. There can only be a few reasons to such a sell out:
1)It was all planned not to make as many tickets to make it Exclusive!
2)They didn't expect it to have such a huge turnout and be so successful!
3)They simply didn't print enough tickets!

What we can deduce though, is that the guy who sunk his money into this,
made a FORTUNE!!!!
And next year, judging from this competition and show-case
it will be bigger and Better.
I'm still pouting though!
Such good weather too! I guess I should have bought at Sistec outlets
but who would think it would be so popular.
I saw A LOT of nice cars plus a lot of Malaysians who drove up
for no reason left like broken branches at the side roads....
Awwwww!!!

Well at least I can ramble on about the F1!!!
DUDE I was up n ARMS and left mouth open after Alonso's car ran itself in and caught Fire!
He was 2nd on the grid and I had faith in him to be in Pole Position
or at least top 5 since Spain was his home ground and
the crowds were looking down upon him like a the hero he is!

Well I then went to support my back up man, Lewis Hamilton ,who didn't falter at 3rd position.
What ever it is, my prediction (sadly) is that Overall winners are
1)Kimi Raikkonen
2)Felipe Massa
3) Lewis Hamilton
4)Kubica
Ferarri are looking unstoppable with BMW behind them now!
This race in Barcelona was by FAR one of the MOST exciting
with 9 drivers out of 22 crashing out the race for various reasons.
I didn't realise but there was a live results feed, that managed
to keep me updated on what was going on to who and how!
I'll post pictures tomorrow as I got silly excited about it even though
SOMEONE thought I was weird for taking pictures of it on the computer screen!
Next Race in 2 weeks Sunday in TURKEY.

Exciting day as I'm about to go down to the Changi Exhibition area
and catch the Singapore Drifting which is a competition throughout the day and
THEN tonight catch the F1 where it's current leg of the races are held in SPAIN.

Yesterday's qualifying races leaves an interesting run up in poll places for todays race!
Kicking it in poll position is
1.Kimi Raikkonen (Ferrari)
2. FERNANDO Alonso (Renault)
3.Felipe Massa (Ferrari)

Bahrain F1

Sitting here watching the live telecast of the F1 in Bahrain. My favourite Alonso (not so much for Renault) is in 10th position with 5 laps to go. He's been fairly consistent in those rankings and as for Lewis Hamilton-yikes-
He started off 3rd position on the grid, but if you've been watching he started off ultra slow,
while everyone from behind passed him by-What is going on?
He also managed to hit into the back end of Alonso?!??!?!
He's in 13th position with 3 laps to go!

Massa is up in 1st after his Sepang upset after spinning off into the gravel.
The commentator just made a comment
that he doesn't think Massa is champion material- ouch!
What we do know is he's hungry and he's the race winner!!!!
so:

1st: Massa (Ferrari)


2nd: Raikkonen (Ferrari)

3rd: Kubica (BMW)


So after Australia, Malaysia and Bahrain- I look forward to SPAIN.
Of course its a countdown to Singapore's Night Races.

Changing winds?

So i had an interesting week-things seem to be leveling out to a plateau and hopefully I reach the other side where its all down hill from then on! Till then it's Trod trod plod!

Had a Great Friday out which was one of the best in a long while, especially since all the random people from London and elsewhere decided to fly in at the SAME time and appear in the SAME place! Absolutely brilliant surprises!

Alonso but alas Alonso is way down the charts with Renault.
A big uproar awhen Massa spun out and hit the gravel. I had to hide my glee of course.
In which case I got a photos of a Very hot Car in RollsRoyce.

SO i should be off to KL next week for the

F1's Seasons 2nd race from the 20th -23rd March!
Boy has this month flown by faster then I can Say F1!
Nearly a year will go by when my sister has left for France.

My plans are always chopping about and
I need to make it to Taiwan in April because
my best mate Alicia Pan is deciding to make a move back
to the Moody, Storming, cramped island.
Meaning I will HAVE no REASON to go visit her or GO there!

Anyway had a yummy BBQ yesterday at the Caribbeans hosted by Alicia and her friends from Taiwan (but Canadian) were in town for the weekend- so had a get together and ate away!
We managed to get the Girls all in one place minus Lilian!!!

La Formula Una CLear up

Okay Ladies for those of you wanting to join
the La formula Una (click for webbie),
to clear some confusion up- Singapore will be having2 Selections for the La Formula Una.
Malaysia does not have a Redbull office for the F1 in Sepang, SO

Singapore will handle 2 countries
the La Formula Una in Sepang Malaysia and another one end of Year in September in Singapore.

This means 2 overall Singapore girls out will be chosen at the 2 different F1's and then sent to Brazil!

As last year Singapore had no F1 Race, I was sent under Singapore's Redbull for Sepang, Malaysia!

SO the closing date for the Sepang F1 was 29th February and the selection party was held on 1st March at the Em by the river!

BUT DON'T fret because 28th July is ANOTHER closing date for applications to be the La formula for Singapore's F1.

Clear enough???If not here's a chart!!!

Been doing alot of reading- had the Biggest migraine last night that wasn't funny at all- the worst I've ever had! Well keeping me company is Paper, coloured pens, Dvds, newspapers and my diary!!!

The boys from Redbull came down as well and we went through the girls for the La Formula Una selection to go up to Sepang in Malaysia for the Formula One. Had a good banter over the girls and reminiscing over last years race and party which was alot of FUN!!!

Oh and I got flowers and i was sitting there for a good 10minutes wondering who was Gablo...I found out who it was (Pablo)in the end so I must remind my self to send an email later since they've left the country.

It's taken me this long but I've finally managed to watch 'Smoking Aces' with G,

and was a good movie except I was a bit lost at the end.

I managed to make an escape just now and bought that VCD and United 93,

a nice depressing movie on the 911 plane that crashed and the final moments etc.

G brought me loads of chocos, crisps and even a car mag has been left here,

though I would prefer a Motor bike mag!!!

La Formula Una Selection Party

Tonight's La Formula Una Selection Party for Sepang held at M by the River was a huge success. With around 50-60 girls signing up, i had to host and interview the girls who had signed up for it- including quite a few familiar faces!!!

This shall be interesting to go back up to Sepang again for 4 days of ultra fun and ofcourse...

the F1!!!!

The new top 10 girls will be announced next week, so good luck to all!!!!!

Like it Or not!

A group I love alot for their lyrics and older tunes will be in town7th of March....INCUBUS!!!!!
Their concert will be held at Fort Canning Park for S$125 so for fans be sure to grab em' at Sistic outlets!!!
Moving on , I had a chilled weekend with alot of sleep but I guess its a counter action to my very late nights. I have a tendency to sleep in the early hours and wake up early- relatively.

I have some pictures I didn't post up of the events i attended on the 13th, the Valentines Event held at the Marriott hotel pool, which I went down to with Natalie foster, Alessia Zuliani and happened to meet Nicole Chen and alot of other random people! The event itself had alot of randoms!

14th itself I was working doing my first mini hosting job, which was a small thing for Rendezvous by Lexean and it was sponsored by Four seasons (where it was held), Dior Cosmetics and Veuve Cliquot! I was picked up after and headed to Le Noir for a couple of chilled drinks where I met Alessia and her friend Nicholas. The boys all went back and I went off home after a Maccers-yes tsk tsk for late night eating, but fact was I hadn't eaten any Dinner on Valentines!!!

Friday I had an amazing night from Mimolette and to Rupee Room, in which I had always wanted to check out. It had an amazing vibe and Hindi tunes and Bhangra Beats. A friend who had given me a ride in his Lambo from Mimolette took us into Ruby and it felt like I had stepped right in to a Bollywood movie!!!People were really friendly and we all had a good dance for about an hour and a half!!! I'm definitely a new fan of that place!!!And of course not forgetting our bodies shaked our way down to Attica- our all time favourites!

Friday I also had a shoot early in the day before the Chingay parade with the F1 car i mentioned in an earlier post. Clothes were sponsored by Gucci and Guess and the shoes were amazing!!!
This shoot is for ST Urban again, for next week I believe so be sure to watch out!
