F1 sundays

5th race of the F1 season kicks off in about 10minutes or so in Spain, Catalunya!!!
Lewis unfortunately has no hope of defending his championship but I'd be more than happy with Button taking his place!!!

Now that our fellow Swede Marcus has left the country back home for summer till August- all our weekends are concentrated at home, with TV control in hand and the F1!Yes his crazy antics will be missed. My trip back to Europe will be postponed from June to July for work but that means less of a rush!

The last week as well we had Dynamo (click on name for webbie) and his manager Dan
stay over from UK.
Singtel brought him in to perform at their new product launch. In their off days they managed
to catch on film some street tricks at the skatepark as their stage and at Zirca!

I'll write a WHOLE new entry on him, becuase he deserves his own! They leave tonight but hopefully we will see them back inUK or S'pore very very soon for other projects!

In the mean time here's a run down of the F1 scoreboards!

Nothing better but an F1 sunday!

The 2009 cars for the Formula 1 are completely different and somewhat ugly and almost old school looking. The spoilers look like those drag race cars!
I've just finished watching the 1st race of the season in Melbourne
and it definitely was a great start to the year with an Amazing comeback for Button and the Brawn team who a few weeks ago had no idea if they were racing or not without financial backing.
Much luck for Hamilton for his 4th placing when in the last 3 laps, Kubica hits into Vettel.

This season is gonna be completely different what with the new rules and modifications.
It's pouring down and after a big night out, I couldn't think of a better weekend with the thunder and lightening, the couch and friends chilling.
We had all thought about hitting KM8 but, we can forget that.

One last thing!!! Such a lie for Maclaren and the news surrounding how shit their cars are.
I totally agree that all the speculation of the cars was to trick everyone!
Now I have to wait another week:(

Besides from all the speed and adrenaline- I've had a crazy work week filming, with getting up at 6am every morning and sometimes back at 8pm. The pool scenes i had to film, really made me pass out at night being in the hot sun and splashing around! Well i appreciate the nice tan!!!

Break snacks! Chee chong Fun and Siew Mai-YUM!

Behind the scene muscles-Kiwi!

Julz and Hanson messing around!

Above the Pool yesterday!

My life seems to revolve at the moment around My Hoodratting boys, cars, filming and now the F1!!! I need to get back into exercising- I have no time!

Tuesday beforemy filming i have a stand in for AXN's Ebuzz on Tuesday so it will be a long day running around in make up. There is a tendancy to want to wear as little makeup as possible when I'm away from filming. I usually get home wet wipe my make up, and using Biohomme's facial cleanser and a sponge I scrub my face clean and with all the eye glue and mascara it usually means these Oiled up cotton pads to clean off the carbon makeup!

It's no wonder my face is whiter than my body becuase it's constantly being cleaned.
Another shout out to my favourite pre-make up product that
I swear by is the Clarins BEAUTY FLASHBALM.
It's actually amazing and somehow replumps your skin!!!! Get it!!!

I don't have much time to see my friends, excpet formthat is very late night Sweet eatings at Swensons and P.S. Cafe a Dempsey, even going all the way to the night Safari for Indian food, hahah!

Will post up more, been slacking from the usual postings.
Over and out!

Don't blink!

Been a good 1 month since I've said anything!!!
Time flies and the whole excitement of the F1 has come and gone,
but of course the memorabilia of the inaugural World's 1st night race
in the heart of Singapore city centre will be a good wall piece for many...

Yes! It was Hot and Sweaty...but all so worth it.
I was lucky enough to watch the race from the boxes in the aircon,
while a corridor of food lay before all of us throughout the day,
with people red and jolly from the free flow beverages!
I have to say though, in Brazil last year they had a massive Moet and Chandon counter
with Rose champs, which I MUCH preferred than to the official F1 champs Mumm:(

There were also free seating grandstand seats if we wanted to hear and smell the cars and track
and we could see the cars going around the 1st corner.

After following this whole season, I have to admit that this definitely was one of the most exciting races of the Season, of course with the added value that I was there watching it.
Massa was metres away when he drove off with his fuel pipe still attached to his tank, allowing Hamilton to be 7 points ahead at the end of the race and leaving the Brazilian in 13th though he started from pole position.

Poo to the Ferrari bosses who made such sore comments that it was a 'Circus' track that brought shame to the F1.

Who i must give heads up to is Bernie Ecclestons comments that well if it was a 'Circus' track in Ferrari's words, Ferrari must be lauded for Providing the 'Clowns'-HAhahhaaAhaAh amazing comeback.....

Which brings me toooo....

I actually got to meet the billionaire Bernie E (looking like a Gremlin) and who else, Singapore's very own Lee Hsien Loong!!! How? Talk about timing! I was about to stomp off after all my company had a chance at the F1 simulator, AND thinking I had no time before 'VIPs' arrived (unknown who they were to us), i was called back and after a horrendous, slow round of the simulated course, I get out of the car, only to find the doors to the booth closed and the entourage of bodyguards and ministers!
SO handshakes and Paparazzi shots later, my failure as a F1 driver was forgotten!!!!

I got plenty of other Paparazzi shots of other random drivers and the Paddock club surroundings. I have to say singapore pulled it off in the 10 months we waited for all of this happen and I'm so proud of the country's achievments.

There certainly is no other place to be in the next 5-10 years, depsite the prediction of an economy slump due to the US Market....F1...Casino, Theme Park...and so much more...
ALOT to look for! If your not here, get your ASS to Singapore for a Holiday. if not Move back!!!

AHahah I'll leave you some pictures of the F1, my birthday!!! Friends b'days etc!!!!

Peace out!!

FORMULA 1 GRAND PRIX DE FRANCE 2008

Magny-Cours

Race Date: 22 Jun 2008
Number of Laps: 70
Circuit Length: 4.411 km
Race Distance: 308.586 km
Lap Record: 1:15.377 - M Schumacher (2004)

Its race weekend in France once again and once again, Hamilton seems down in luck.Though he qualified in 3rd position, he had to serve out a 10 place penalty because of his pit mishap in Montreal, pushing to 13th in grid positions. 1/4 through todays race and he was served with ANOTHER penalty after he went off track and came back on overtaking another driver, which is not allowed, but he really had no choice. He's now in 18th with team India behind him as last driver. Argh...Raikkonen is FAR far far far ahead.

Alonso, still one of my favourites, might be going to Ferrari next year. That's the rumour! Renault's car is absolute shit, which is not a secret, but can you imagine Alonso with Ferrari? I think its kind of a misfit for imaging. But if he was, without doubt, he'd be in the pole positions. With out any doubt, Alonso, is one of the best drivers out there of these times with Double championships under his belt. With a better car coupled with his skill it would be very interesting!!!!

Anyway back to the French track, amazing race, with very tight corners and turns, making very little margin for any error, if not none at all. Definitely a track that is hard for drivers to overtake one another. To other fans out there, enjoy the rest of today's race!!!

Mothers Day vs F1

Yes its Sunday and Mother's Day and ordering flowers is such a difficulty because
EVERYone is doing it and everywhere is charging exuberant prices
because they've tripled the prices.
No I'm not a Cheapo but why not get double the amount of flowers a day after Mother's Day. It's the Thought that counts!!!!

~FORMULA ONE~
Making Bangers and Mash for dins and in 5-10 minutes the Formula One in Turkey starts.
Some random trivia: The Turkey trick is 1 of 3 tracks that is driven anti-clockwise, the other 2 being Sao Paulo and YES SINGAPORE' track!!!!

And for drivers as they are usually driving round right corners, they develop a stronger right side of the neck , so for anti-clockwise tracks they will be turning alot to the left , where their necks aren't as strong and it will be more challenging because of the G-Force!

Pole positions for Qualifying was:
1.Felipe Massa
2.Heikki Kovalainen
3.Lewis Hamilton
4.Kimi Räikkönen
5.Robert Kubica
6.Mark Webber
7.Fernando Alonso

So far, Fisichella in the 1st Lap, ran in to Nakajima at the start and both are out of the race with carbon fibre bits all over th track...44 Laps out of 58 have been raced, so it's getting really Exciting with Massa and Hamilton battling it out in top 2 spots bettering each other nonstop with their best laps....Okay well another blogging later on the winners and hopefully some more drama!!!

~EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES~
In the mean time, went out to go look at fishing rods and tackles, weights etc, as next week a group of 10 of us are going deep sea fishing just outside of Singapore organised by the Marina One degree 15. I Haven't been before so i'm pretty excited about the overnight fishing.
In Singapore you always need to find new things to do , provided you can pull together a bit more funding.

But honestly, if people who earn an average amount a month spend hundreds on alcohol over the weekend, then they can definitely over-afford to go and rent a boat and buy the necessary!

If any of you have any other suggestions what other interesting things you can do in Singapore, PLEASE let me know!!! I'm running out of ideas each week!!!

Bahrain F1

Sitting here watching the live telecast of the F1 in Bahrain. My favourite Alonso (not so much for Renault) is in 10th position with 5 laps to go. He's been fairly consistent in those rankings and as for Lewis Hamilton-yikes-
He started off 3rd position on the grid, but if you've been watching he started off ultra slow,
while everyone from behind passed him by-What is going on?
He also managed to hit into the back end of Alonso?!??!?!
He's in 13th position with 3 laps to go!

Massa is up in 1st after his Sepang upset after spinning off into the gravel.
The commentator just made a comment
that he doesn't think Massa is champion material- ouch!
What we do know is he's hungry and he's the race winner!!!!
so:

1st: Massa (Ferrari)

2nd: Raikkonen (Ferrari)

3rd: Kubica (BMW)

So after Australia, Malaysia and Bahrain- I look forward to SPAIN.
Of course its a countdown to Singapore's Night Races.
Exciting Times!

Changing winds?

So i had an interesting week-things seem to be leveling out to a plateau and hopefully I reach the other side where its all down hill from then on! Till then it's Trod trod plod!

Had a Great Friday out which was one of the best in a long while, especially since all the random people from London and elsewhere decided to fly in at the SAME time and appear in the SAME place! Absolutely brilliant surprises!

And as always will load some other fun clips from Attica and MOS- in which it has been a while!
Will load some random pictures we took in the Supermarket- Very Questionable products!!!
Annie's NAturals?????

Friday 21stMarch @Attica

Jye at MOs and swapping Soles for the night!
Also int'l editor for FHM

Also speaking of which i did not go to Sepang because i was feeling under the weather
BUT that didn't stop me from watching it!
I needed good rest but i did catch the F1 in the Maserati show room with the Ferrari boys
though I have to admit i'm still a Mclaren fan and
Alonso but alas Alonso is way down the charts with Renault.
A big uproar awhen Massa spun out and hit the gravel. I had to hide my glee of course.
In which case I got a photos of a Very hot Car in RollsRoyce.
