Vietnam Town

DAY 1

So last Wednesday Choy and myself flew off midday to Vietnam. It was a 2 hour flight to Ho Chi Minh City and then 1-Hour to Danang and a half hour ride to Hoi An's Victoria Beach resort and Spa!

Of course, things never go totally according to plan and in between our transits we had an hour to spare. But by the time we handled our Visa and got out of the HCM airport it was 2.30pm, we ran with our luggage in hand across to the Domestic Airport. We were the last to check in and the guy at the counter was pacing up and down slowly taking his time to wayang around and he finally said," No need to check in-no time, no time!"

Me and Choy insisted but he said no need. So we get through, where people in Vietnam have no idea what a queue means, pushing and shoving is quite common! We then get onto bus to take us to the plane and of course we are stopped saying my luggage is to big, and having to explain what the man said.

I ended up leaving my luggage by the stair case into the plane and praying that it makes it to Hoi An, whilst standing in the pouring rain!!!
NIGHTMARE!!!I swear it was the amazing Race....

Anyway,we made it in one piece and got to the resort which was beautiful but cosy.Not too huge that you have to drag yourself to breakfast, the gym, to the pool, everything was within comfortable reach. I spent the rest of the evening
in my room chilling and on the internet with a nice long hot bath for 15 minutes!

Getting on Track

Now that filming is done, I have other auditions lined up etc Sunday I just finished filming for a website character for a Hair Product, which was shot entirely on green screen and shall be quite interesting once it's out-once it's out the i'll tell you the website it's for but until then..... like the drama-Hush hush:)

Gah they are piling next door and the WHOLE house is shaking!

Well as mentioned i'm on track again for working out. The last 2 months I really had no time and when I did, I spent it on the couch, sleeping, trying out products for Cleo or with my mum! Which I think is quite justifying!

Last week I told my self once filming is done, I will go all out to exercise before I leave for overseas! I really wanna go away knowing I am fit and feeling great in case I don't have the chance to work out there! I've started out easy with 2 work outs last week which includes:

1)2 rounds of Emerald Hill on to main road and back round again -15minutes (warm-up)
2)1 set of 12 crunch sit-ups, 1 set of 12 side sit-ups
3)1 set of 16 lunges
4)1 set of 8 push-ups
5)1 set of 12 side leg lifts (holding on to a chair), 1 set of 12 back leg lifts

Today i upped the work out slightly...with all of above except now the
a) crunches and side sit-ups are 15 repetitions
b)after a minute break and sip of water I ran from the back of emerald hill road for about 80m fast, touched the kerb and ran back up as fast as possible

Then by the pool i did :
-8 more push ups
- 12 leg raises, each leg on all 4's
-12 more crunches, 12 more side crunches
In the pool:
-1 set each of 12 side leg raises and 12 back leg raises
-swam 10minutes against the current!!!

Now i'm Hungry!!!! ans a bit more tanner once again!Yike's need to slap on the UV cream!!!
Actually quite pooped now, but i love the feeling of exhaustion- it definitely makes you sleep better!!!! Okay NEXT post on Products tested!!!

oh sweet silence

Though its great being busy and filming Everyday, (including Saturday's and Sundays-not so much fun), it feels nice when you are alone and quiet and can sit,
click away at the computer.
I find it therapeutic, though it may not be to others!

Besides from the filming i'm concurrently being a Product Judge for Cleo Magazine.
I have to test products belonging to 62 Categories.
SO can you imagine what a job I have if each category has a minimum of 5 products
to a maximum of 12!!! By average that's something like almost 500 products-
in fact likely more I assure you. So in my free time I'm testing and writing about them in short.
But I guess the pay off is I get to keep every single one, which is actually quite insane!
I just realised how amazing it must be , being the editor of a magazine,
receiving all the materials and products! WOW!

Summer Cruising
Besides, that I been hanging with my hood rat boys and planning out our Summer trip to London, Scotland, Monaco and St.Tropez. Somewhere along those lines I really wanna see my sister, hopefully she can come meet us in aberdeen. she can fly to Edinburgh and take a train up to Aberdeen and we'll pick her up and then she'll come down in the car with us to London- HINT HINT, hee hee.

Nothing better but an F1 sunday!

The 2009 cars for the Formula 1 are completely different and somewhat ugly and almost old school looking. The spoilers look like those drag race cars!
I've just finished watching the 1st race of the season in Melbourne
and it definitely was a great start to the year with an Amazing comeback for Button and the Brawn team who a few weeks ago had no idea if they were racing or not without financial backing.
Much luck for Hamilton for his 4th placing when in the last 3 laps, Kubica hits into Vettel.

This season is gonna be completely different what with the new rules and modifications.
It's pouring down and after a big night out, I couldn't think of a better weekend with the thunder and lightening, the couch and friends chilling.
We had all thought about hitting KM8 but, we can forget that.

One last thing!!! Such a lie for Maclaren and the news surrounding how shit their cars are.
I totally agree that all the speculation of the cars was to trick everyone!
Now I have to wait another week:(

Besides from all the speed and adrenaline- I've had a crazy work week filming, with getting up at 6am every morning and sometimes back at 8pm. The pool scenes i had to film, really made me pass out at night being in the hot sun and splashing around! Well i appreciate the nice tan!!!

Above the Pool yesterday!

My life seems to revolve at the moment around My Hoodratting boys, cars, filming and now the F1!!! I need to get back into exercising- I have no time!

Tuesday beforemy filming i have a stand in for AXN's Ebuzz on Tuesday so it will be a long day running around in make up. There is a tendancy to want to wear as little makeup as possible when I'm away from filming. I usually get home wet wipe my make up, and using Biohomme's facial cleanser and a sponge I scrub my face clean and with all the eye glue and mascara it usually means these Oiled up cotton pads to clean off the carbon makeup!

It's no wonder my face is whiter than my body becuase it's constantly being cleaned.
Another shout out to my favourite pre-make up product that
I swear by is the Clarins BEAUTY FLASHBALM.
It's actually amazing and somehow replumps your skin!!!! Get it!!!

I don't have much time to see my friends, excpet formthat is very late night Sweet eatings at Swensons and P.S. Cafe a Dempsey, even going all the way to the night Safari for Indian food, hahah!
