25th-Cruising & Boozing

Down at Camps Bay well known for its trendy crowd and gay community!
From Clifton Beach we walked an hour or so past Camps Bay and eventually got
picked up in the H3. The sights were breathtaking going down hill.



The beautiful coastal houses and apartments and winding roads on the way to Clifton beach where we passed Camps Bay which was the place to be scene with all the restaurants and bars and chill out watering holes for the young/older and trendy.

IN South Africa

SO i arrived at 7am , about 5 hours ago, and i took a few pictures already.
It's absolutely stunning here, besides almost getting lost in a Slum/Shanty Town,
which was pretty much ghetto...
The weather is 17-23 degrees but it is BLAZING HOT-UV levels are DANGEROUS!
I was 5 minutes literally in the sun and brown sugar already!

I'm in Constantia, Cape Town...here are the handful of phone shots of our ride a H3 HUMMER...also the house and nature!

Capetown to night

Got an hour left before I head off to Capetown, South Africa. Flights at 1.30am and I'll arrive at 7am in the morning!!! Flights about 12hours, more or less like flying back to UK or to Europe. Atleast it's not 25 hours like it was to Brazil.

I only finished packingan hour ago and i got the sniffles from folding clothes-which i absolutely abhor. Anyhow its hard decidin gout of your whole wardrobe what to bring for 2 weeks. Will be back anyhow on 10th february, but i'm pretty sure i'll still be on here writing in S.A.

I looked up the weather and it loks amazing. 17-25 degrees, but apparently tanning is instant and the UV rays are DANGEROUS.. Aight well, i'll load some pictures when i can soon enough.

South Africa and going Green!

SO in 2 weeks or so , I'm heading off to South Africa for a wedding and i hope what is to be a good break away to clear my head and get things in check etc...
I spent a while searching for my 1st real proper wedding dress get up
and i was out with my mum and from the corner of my eye,
I was trolling through dress shops in paragon,
i was in Metro and I saw a big picture with this gorgeous dress with flowers etc...
and I'm not one to wear floral...BUT
i saw the last remaining piece from a designer called Marissa!
Previously I had picked up a stunning dress from BCBG maxamara,
for a hefty price, but im so glad I didnt get that one.

It took me ALL of 5 seconds to buy this dress!
What a find. I thought briefly once 2 weeks ago, what a waste of time looking so hard and passionately for it, but well, that was then.

Moving on, I got it altered and can't wait to go get it.
Long dresses have never been my thing, especially for my body shape, but,
I got a great response and compliments even from the woman who is tailoring my dress who thought it was from that uber pricey store in Paragon called 'Pois'.

Anywho, I'm looking forward to hopefully a Safari, Bunjee jumping off the highest bungee bridge at 216m, Shark diving and all things unimaginable in SA.
It's not often one travels to South Africa.

Without doubt, I'll be back witha crazy new skin tone
and a tonne of pictures and stories to share.
What a way to start 2009!
